The programme for the New Zealand HPC Applications Workshop has been finalised. A fantastic range of topics covering a wide range of uses of high performance computing in New Zealand. Climate science, machine learning, computational chemistry and many other domains and methods are well represented. There will be several talks on experiences parallelising code to many-core architectures and one focusing on how to make HPC more accessible.
The day is a satellite event to the New Zealand eResearch Symposium, though you can register and attend independent of the full event. If a deep understanding of varied approaches to developing and deploying HPC applications interests you, NeSI strongly recommends attending the event. This is also a unique opportunity to connect with others involved in HPC in the community, including learning about facilities available to researchers nationwide.
